So in that scene from Back to the Future 2 with Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) where he’s wearing the Nike Air Mag, the year is 2015 - although we’re not quite to 2015, and probably no where near seeing a shoe like that, for all you Back to the Future nuts out there, these new kicks will definitely suit your style.

The Nike “McFly” Hypermax features a futuristic colorway (Jetstream Grey/Pale Blue/Hot Pink) and draws inspiration from parts of the Mag shoe such as the ankle strap and standout liner. Some other features include the NFW (No Flywire) Technology, nylon upper, and full air strip on the sole.

These kicks have dropped in Asia, and is rumored to be seen stateside later this year at select House of Hoops.

These kicks are adorned with strong gold lettering signifying an accomplishment from Kobe’s season thus far. Some of the standout stats include Kobe’s 61 point performance at Madison Square Garden and the 399 assists he had this season. These kicks have been worn by most of the Laker’s squad and it seems that these shoes have given the Lakers some extra umph as they’ve taken a strong series lead over the Magic - will we see a different color makeup when the series shifts to Orlando? We’ll find out in a couple days…

These kicks were very popular back in the day because of the way the pearl white color went so well with the foamposite look. The 2009 version will, however, have a slight difference according to rumors. It will still have the pearl white upper and black laces and tongue, but instead of the original red accents, this version will feature blue accents.

Get ready people, these are one of those bball sneakers that are comfy to ball in AND look nice for casual wear.

The students from Claremont Academy Elementary School and Parkside Elementary Community Academy designed the special Nike Zoom Kobe IV shoes in a project involving Nike and a program called After-School All-Stars.

The kids were involved with the entire design process including choosing colors and materials (via NikeiD). I’m sure this was a really special experience for the kids at Claremont and Parkside to be able to design sneakers for one of the greatest players in the game.

Whether it was the petitioning that pushed this release to happen or not doesn’t matter now because on March 17th…yes you read that right MARCH 17TH, St. Patrick’s Day (how fitting right?), you will be able to pick up a pair of these. That’s right, here we have the shoes that 2009 NBA Slam Dunk Champion Nate Robinson wore to take down the Man of Steel himself (literally - Robinson ended the competition with a high flying dunk OVER the 7-footer). These green beauties here are the Nike Foamposite Lite Player Editions - now dubbed the “Kryptonate”.

Clever doesn’t begin to describe little Nate’s creativity with this one. Not only was he wearing green kicks, he made sure he matched everything up with the green Knicks jersey, arm sleeves, socks - the whole get-up.

Although there are no plans to release the shoe, it has already solidified its place in the status line of PE’s. AND now, we’re seeing these kicks pop up on none other than: eBay.
