Nike Dunk High SB - Gucci 2009

The popular Nike Dunk High SB “Gucci” is back, and these SB’s have the fat tongue! As you know, there is another Nike Dunk dubbed the “Gucci Ostrich” that will be dropping at House of Hoops later this October. Well these most recent shots of the Dunk Gucci are more true to the previous releases.

These will be a Quickstrike re-release (previously released in 2005) this coming Winter, featuring a little bit less fraying going on with the denim, and a higher quality denim in general. Check out the sweet comparison photos from REVIVE below.

Nike SB Dunk Low x NJ Skate Shop “Toxic Avenger”

Gotta give some some local NJ love to NJ Skate Shop and to our very own superhero hailing from the Duurty, the Toxic Avenger. Seen here is a first look at the Nike SB Dunk Low designed by NJ Skate Shop, and inspired by the comic superhero Toxic Avenger.

Nice use of colors here, with the bright neon green midsole and sharp red swoosh, blended with the tans and browns of the upper to create a look for Nike Snowboarder Gigi Ruf (check out the logo on the shoe). No fat tongue here anymore, but a nicely done pair of kicks nonetheless.

Nike Dunk Low CL Anthracite

Lots of East Dunks being released this coming Summer/Fall. Here is another one - the Dunk Low CL in the anthracite/black/volt yellow colorway.

As you can see from the pics, it is a fairly dark shoe, but contrasted with volt dots that kind of give it a spacy feel. The upper on the shoe is made of black suede and the speckling continues on the sole of the shoe. Release date on these is sometime in October 2009.

Nike Dunk Hi 08 ND Swan

It is Summer and the Nike Dunks are coming out in swarms. These Nike Dunk Hi “Swan’s” are actually a really nice Summer sneaker because of its clean lines and bright colors.

These kicks appear nice and clean with the predominately white leather, then as you get closer, the details start to pop out. Starting with the volt yellow stiching, then the paint spatter like pattern on the midsole, these dunks were meant to be worn to show the entire shoe from top to bottom.

Nike Sportswear Canarinho Soccer Pack - Brazil Exclusive

Already released, I know, but still worth a quick post about these hot kicks available only in Brazil. This Canarinho Soccer Pack commemorates the rich tradition surrounding the sport of soccer and includes the Nike Dunk Low, Blazer High, and Tennis Classic.

Each shoe has special meaning: The patterned Dunks celebrate the 1958 World Cup win, the Blazer’s feature a sandlot futbol player, and the Tennis Classic’s show Brazilian homes’ decorations honoring the start of soccer tournaments. Release date on here were May 25th, and each comes with a matching T-shirt.

Nike Dunk Hi Supreme “Gucci Ostrich”

Another rendition of a pair of Gucci theme inspired sneakers, the Nike Dunk Hi Supreme Green/Black/Red will be released at the House of Hoops and select Foot Locker Stores later this year in October.

As with most of the Supreme branded kicks, these shoes are made with the finest materials. The upper is wrapped in a high quality, premium black and team green leather and the mid features a red textured swoosh. Another interesting contrast here is the addition of a gum sole which actually gives it a nice luxury touch here.

Futura x Nike Dunk High FLOM - LIVESTRONG ‘Stages’ Collection

This isn’t the first time Lance and Nike have teamed up, but this would be a first for the LIVESTRONG series to feature some very popular Nike Sportswear kicks. Another inspiring part of this story is that ALL, yes ALL the proceeds from sales of the shoes in this collection will be going to benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Seen here are the Nike x Futura FLOM Dunk from this collection. This should be a nice collector’s edition to anyone’s stash of Nike Dunks. Be on the lookout for future releases from this collection!

Nike Dunk High - Pharrell N.E.R.D. Snakeskin Sample

Rare shoes always draw a lot of attention, and these are no exception. What you see here are some samples that appeared on eBay (sorry, already sold) of the popular 2004 release - The Pharrell N.E.R.D. Snakeskin Edition Nike Dunk High. Because of the snakeskin design, these are a little more gray in color and design, but just as hot as the ones that were released.

Nike Dunk High Challenge Supreme - Union LA

Recently, Nike and Union in NYC and LA partnered up to create a couple sweet renditions of the Nike Dunk High. The version seen here is the Union LA edition, and the NYC version can be seen here.

Also inspired by the Nike Air Tech Challenge, except these have a darker feel and comes in the black, gray, volt colorway. Once again, very rare and sold out because only 100 pairs were created.

Nike Dunk High Challenge Supreme - Union NYC

Recently, Nike and Union in NYC and LA partnered up to create a couple sweet renditions of the Nike Dunk High. The version seen here is the Union NYC edition, and the LA version can be seen here.

The first obvious thing that pops out is the use of the Hot Lava color and pattern from the crowd favorite Nike Air Tech Challenge. These kicks also take a heel strap from the Nike Vandal with Union’s stamp of approval on it.

Rare, rare shoes here people (100 made of each), enjoy the pics!
