No more than 10 minutes ago, we posted some first looks at the highly anticipated Nike Air Yeezy’s in the Zen Grey/Neon Orange colorway. Now, HOT off the presses from SOLE Collector, we have additional release information.
There have been many speculations that these shoes will release March 2009, but it turns out this was either untrue, or the date has been pushed back to Fall/Holiday 2009 at the pricepoint of $200. Although much less than Kanye’s LV kicks (at $600 a pair), these don’t come cheap either, but after seeing some of these initial pics, you’ve gotta admit, at some prices that other collectors are currently paying for sneakers, these might be well worth it.
These shoes are made with some of the finest quality materials from the leather to the accent points. The Air Yeezy shares the same sole as the Air Jordan III, which includes the air bubble design and toe. The outsole is glow in the dark (probably taken from his last year’s innovative concert tour), and there are other JB features including the lace locks and patterned toe cap.
Looks like the hype is coming true with these kicks…start writing your xmas lists now!
