The kicks featured here are dubbed the “Un-Heaven’s Gate” by many in the sneaker world now because of its heavy resemblance to an earlier planned Fall 2008 release of a shoe designed by skater Todd Jordan, named the “Heaven’s Gate”. This shoe of course, because of its name, received a lot of negative feedback from Nike and the public, and was pulled from the line (more info on Heaven’s Gate).
This new pair is made of a suede material and makes use of some popular color combos including purple, black, and white. Release of these is set for Nike SB’s April 2009 collection.
